Bisons 3, Thunder 1

It appears it's going to take a near-perfect effort to bring down the unbeaten Okotoks Bisons.

The Airdrie Techmation Thunder came close on Sunday afternoon.

But Bisons all-star goaltender Devin Reagan made 34 saves as Okotoks beat Airdrie 3-1.

Tyson Laduke scored a pair and Brennan Schwark added a single as the Bisons moved to 17-0-0 on the season.

Zachary Dubois replied for the Thunder, who had their seven-game winning streak come to an end.

Okotoks visits the Mountainview Colts on Friday while the Airdrie hosts the Ponoka Stampeders.

Copperheads 6, Wheatland Kings 1

Ethan Klemen potted a pair of goals while Brandyn Howg scored once and added a pair of helpers as the Copperheads beat the Wheatland Kings.

Isaac Benoit, Tyler Anderson and Jayden Bexte also scored and Ethan Barrows made 19 saves as the Snakes improved to 10-6-1.

Strathmore (6-9-0) will host the High River Flyers and Coaldale will host the Sylvan Lake Wranglers on Saturday.

Wranglers 3, Stampeders 1

Kyle Richmond's powerplay goal stood up as the game-winner as Sylvan Lake got past Ponoka.

Jackson Rider and Zane Bennett rounded out the scoring for the Wranglers, who evened their record at 8-8-0.

Bailey Nesbitt's shorthanded marker accounted for the Stamps' (4-9-1) offence.

Cameron Loomis-Labrosse kicked out 24 pucks to pick up his sixth win of the season.

Ponoka is in Airdrie on Friday while Sylvan Lake visits Coaldale on Saturday.

Cubs 6, Rams 2

Brayden Anderson and Cooper Hilworth had a goal and an assist apiece as the Cubs beat the expansion Rams.

Mackenzie Fritzier, Ethan Machan, Mason Fischer and Chandler Aleman also scored as the Cubs (9-3-2) spread the scoring around.

Landon Siegle scored both goals for the Rams (2-12-0).

Rocky hosts the Lomond Lakers on Friday while Medicine Hat visits the Red Deer Vipers on Saturday.
