Three Stars

1. Dean Olenyk, Cochrane Generals — The 18-year-old rookie scored a pair of goals and then set up the game-winner, all in the final 12 minutes of a tight win over High River. Two days later, Olenyk piled up five assists in a win over Strathmore.

2. Layne Sniher, High River Flyers — The Flyers didn't come up with a win on the weekend, but it wasn't due to a lack of production from Sniher. He was in on all six of his club's goals (one marker, five helpers) in a loss to Cochrane and then two assists in a setback to Sylvan Lake.

3. Kole Fujita, Coaldale Copperheads — The Taber product found the net and set up another goal in a road win in Red Deer. Fujita capped off the weekend with a goal and five points in a victory in Ponoka.
