The spoiler role was so nice the Bisons did it twice on their opening weekend.
The Carstar Okotoks Bisons skated away with a pair of road victories by knocking off Airdrie and Strathmore in their home opening contests to open their 2023-24 Heritage Junior Hockey League account in style.
“It’s pretty fun, the home teams are pretty excited,” said Bisons centre Easton Dean. “And to shut their fans down, score some goals and win games, that’s a pretty good feeling.”
