Generals announce New President

The Cochrane Generals announced today that the organization has hired Chase Kinch as its new President.

Kinch first became involved with the Generals as a player in 2003. His dedication to the team earned him the captaincy for two out of the four seasons he spent on ice as a General.

In 2013, Kinch found himself back with the Generals, however, this time on the other side of things, in the board room. After sitting on the board as director for two seasons he was nominated and voted in as Vice President.

Similar to ten years ago, his commitment to the team ran deep. In addition to holding the VP title, Kinch also became an assistant coach for the 2015-2016 season where he helped lead the team to winning the South Division title and onto the league finals.

Former president Ken Soloski will remain with the team as past president to help Kinch and the board with what is expected to be a very successful 2016-2017 season.
