The Heritage Junior Hockey League announced today that Airdrie Thunder forward Clay Murray has been named the HJHL Player of the Week for the week ending on September 18, 2016.
Murray, 19, recorded three goals and one assist in two games, helping the Thunder start the season with a 2-0-0 record.
The Airdrie, AB product had a goal and assist on Friday night in a win over Three Hills, before scoring twice on Sunday in a win over Medicine Hat.
Murray had the game-winner in both games.
