STETTLER – Klay Munro stole the show, stopping all 40 shots he faced as the Three Hills Thrashers blanked the Stettler Lightning by a score of 2-0 on Friday evening.
Patrick Fougere opened the scoring just 55 seconds into the game, then made it a 2-0 Thrashers (4-5-1) lead with a power-play marker midway through the middle stanza.
Lane Congdon turned aside 23-of-25 shots faced in the Lightning (4-6-0) crease.

DIDSBURY – Evan Ingram’s four-goal game powered the Mountainview Colts to a 12-2 win over the Ponoka Stampeders on Friday night.
Josh Gette finished the night with two goals and two assists, while Colton Anderson chipped in with a goal and three helpers as the Colts (8-1-0) have now won six in a row.
Mountainview scored four times in each period as Benjamin Strautman, Tyson Schmidt, Alan Klinck and Mitchell Visser also found the back of the net. Thomas Della Siega made 14 saves between the pipes.
Jordan Sears tallied both goals for the Stampeders (2-8-0), giving him four goals on the season.

AIRDRIE – Clay Murray scored three times including the winner as the Airdrie Thunder edged the Blackfalds Wranglers by a 6-4 score on Friday evening.
Rylan Plante-Crough added a goal and two helpers for Airdrie (8-2-2), while Parker Smith and Andrew McLennan chipped in with singles.
Kade Taplin picked up the win in goal, stopping 28-of-32 shots on the night.
Brody Bolton paced the Wranglers (4-4-0) with a pair of goals, while Landon Siegle netted a goal and two helpers. Zane Bennett rounded out the scoring, while Lane Brann was busy between the pipes, making 61 saves on the night.

COCHRANE – Colton Won scored twice as the Cochrane Generals extended their winning streak to 11 games with a 5-2 win over the Strathmore Wheatland Kings on Friday night.
Corey Goeson, Connor Rendell and Walid Hassin rounded out the Cochrane (11-0-0) scoring attack, while Ryan Simpson turned aside 17 shots between the pipes to grab the victory.
Kristian Ayoungman and Brenden Moore provided the scoring for the Wheatland Kings (8-2-2), which got 41 saves from netminder Brady Hoover.
