OKOTOKS – A pair of goals from Connor Rendell powered the Cochrane Generals to a 7-3 win over the Okotoks Bisons on Sunday afternoon.

The win was Cochrane’s (16-2-0) fifth in a row, while the loss for the Bisons (8-7-0) was their fourth straight.

Slater Ransom finished the afternoon with a goal and three assists, while Chad Harrison, Talus Hume, Taylor Girard and Brandon Aab each added a single to round out the scoring.

Ty Robinson picked up the win in goal, stopping 37 shots along the way.

Justin Russo, Tyler Rohl and Robbie McLean each found the back of the net for Okotoks.

Blackfalds Wranglers (8)
Stettler Lightning (3)

BLACKFALDS – Garrett Glasman and Landon Siegle combined for 10 points as the Blackfalds Wranglers cruised their fourth straight victory, defeating the Stettler Lightning by an 8-3 score on Sunday afternoon.

Glasman scored three times and added two helpers, while Siegle scored once and setup four others, as the Wranglers (8-5-0) took leads of 4-1 after 20 minutes and 8-2 going into the final frame.

Brody Bolton found the back of the net twice for the Wranglers, while Makenzie Russell and Brenden Davidson rounded out the scoring.

Lane Brann made 30 saves between the pipes.

Kieran Rost, Matt Sylvester and Dylan Houston provided the scoring for the Lightning (6-7-1).
