DIDSBURY – Mark McLeod scored once in regulation and once in the shootout as the Okotoks Bisons erased a 6-4 third period deficit to skate to a 7-6 win over the Mountainview Colts on Friday night.

Kyle Harrison scored twice, while Jaret Bordt added a goal and two assists for the Bisons (9-7-0).

Matthew McDonald made 42 saves between the pipes to pick up the win, while Tyler Rohl and Brennan Fuoco each chipped in with a goal and assist.

Cole Sutherland scored twice for the Colts (11-2-2), which got 30 saves from goaltender Jake Carslon.

Evan Ingram finished with a goal and two helpers, while Reagen Kim, Tyson Schmidt and Colton Anderson each chipped in with a single.

THREE HILLS – Brady Hoover stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced as the Strathmore Wheatland Kings skated to a 3-1 win over the Three Hills Thrashers on Friday evening.

Brooker Pretty Youngman and Zachary Meadows each tallied a goal and assist for Strathmore (5-8-3), which snap a four-game losing skid with the win.

Andrew Sample rounded out the attack, netting his first of the campaign.

Tanner Sharp scored the lone goal for the Thrashers (5-10-1), which got a 43-save performance from goaltender Klay Munro.
