STETTLER – Lane Brann stopped 37-of-38 shots fired his way as the Blackfalds Wranglers skated to a 4-1 win over the Stettler Lightning on Tuesday evening at the Stettler Recreation Centre.
Garrett Glasman and Landon Siegle each scored once and setup two others to finish with a combined six points on the night, as the Wranglers (10-6-0) scored three times in the final frame to erase a 1-1 deadlock after 40 minutes.
Brett White and Bryce Marshall rounded out the Blackfalds scoring, each netting a single.
Dylan Houston scored the lone goal for Stettler (7-8-1), opening the scoring on a shorthanded effort with 55 seconds to go in the first period.
Jordan McCallum made 27 saves in a losing cause.
