Ponoka Stampeders (2)
PONOKA – Alan Klinck and Evan Ingram each scored twice as the Mountainview Colts rolled to a 7-2 win over the Ponoka Stampeders on Wednesday night.
Klinck scored once in the first and once more in the middle frame, while both of Ingram’s tallies came in the second period where the Colts (14-3-2) would take a 5-2 lead.
Tyson Schmidt and Colton Anderson each finished with a goal and assist, while Wyatt Gelinas rounded out the scoring with a single.
Jake Carlson picked up the win between the pipes, making 26 saves on the night.
Nate Higgins and Toran Corbier provided the offence for Ponoka (5-13-2), each finishing with a goal and assist.
