BLACKFALDS – Brody Bolton scored the game winner with just over three minutes to play as the Blackfalds Wranglers came from behind to take a 3-2 victory over the Red Deer Vipers on Tuesday evening.

Trailing 2-0 early in the second period, the Wranglers (13-7-0) scored three unanswered times as Landon Siegle got them on the board with a power-play marker midway through the middle frame.

Garrett Glasman found the equalizer just 27 seconds into the third period, while Bolton put Blackfalds out in front, netting his 10th of the season with 3:17 to play.

Damien Chopek and Drew Joslin tallied for Red Deer (14-7-0), which got 20 saves from Cole Sears on the night.

Lane Brann stood tall in the Wranglers’ crease, stopping 43-of-45 shots fired his way.
