RED DEER – The Mountainview Colts skated to their fifth straight victory thanks to a two-goal, two-assist effort from Evan Ingram on Saturday night.

Ingram netted the game-winner just 16 seconds into overtime to cap off a big night and give the Colts (18-3-2) a 5-4 win.

Mitchell Visser tallied with 1:55 remaining in the third period to force overtime, while Tyson Schmidt and Colton Anderson also found the back of the net for Mountainview, which got 20 saves from goaltender Thomas Della Siega.

Branden Bilodeau turned aside 38 shots in the Red Deer (14-7-1) crease, while Kale Lapointe, Spencer Yeats, Declan Johnston and Mack Differenz provided the offence.

THREE HILLS – Clay Murray scored twice as the Airdrie Thunder picked up their fourth consecutive win, defeating the Three Hills Thrashers by a 5-2 score on Saturday evening.

Malyk John, Kristopher LeClair and Andrew McLennan each added a single for Airdrie (18-4-0), which held leads of 2-1 after 20 minutes and then 4-1 going into the final frame.

Patrick Fougere and Tanner Sharp provided the offence for the Thrarshers (5-15-1), which see their losing streak hit eight games.

BANFF – A four-goal night from Quade Cassidy propelled the Stettler Lightning to a 9-4 victory over the Banff Bears at the Banff Recreation Centre on Saturday.

Kieran Rost, Brendan Bardwell, Matt Sylvester, Ethan Rost and Dylan Houston rounded out the scoring, each finding the back of the net once for the Lightning (10-11-1).

Nathan Cohen-Wallis scored twice for the Bears (4-14-2), which have now lost five straight.

Philip Schader and River Ross provided the other two goals for Banff.

Lane Conngdon stopped 21-of-25 shots between the barber poles for the Lightning.

High River Flyers (1)

COCHRANE – The Cochrane Generals scored seven times in the opening frame and never looked back.

Chad Harrison had a five-point game, scoring twice and setting up two more, as the Cochrane Generals (20-4-0) downed the High River Flyers (6-16-1) 13-1 on Saturday evening.

Walid Hassin and Connor Rendell each scored twice and added two helpers, while Colton Wong scored twice and picked up two assists. Ty Robinson finished with 33 saves between the pipes.

Dawson Javorsky, Slater Ransom, Taylor Girard, Brandon Aab and Levi Barker rounded out the attack.

Adam Rosen had the lone goal for the Flyers.

COALDALE – It was a balanced Coaldale Copperheads attack on Saturday night as nine different players found the back of the net in a 10-2 romp over the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Matt Krusky was the lone player with a multi-goal game, while Isiah Day Chief added a goal and two helpers.

Austin Huculak, MacKenzie Karl, Jayden Smith, Calvin Swanson and Brady Parenteau each finished with a goal and assist, while Logan McKay and Ryan Swier rounded out the Coaldale (16-5-1) attack, each with a single.

Dillan Kelly made 26 saves between the pipes.

Matt Thomson and Kody Hammond scored for Strathmore (8-11-3).
