AIRDRIE – Evan Ingram scored five times including three in the opening 1:50 of the second period as the Mountainview Colts skated to a 6-3 win over the Airdrie Thunder in a showdown of the top teams in the North Division on Friday evening.

Ingram finished with six points on the night as he also grabbed an assist on a goal from Cole Sutherland, who finished with five points as the Colts (19-3-2) extend their winning streak to six games.

Mitchell Visser added four assists for the Colts, while goaltender Thomsa Della Siega made 29 saves between the pipes.

Rylan Plante-Crough, Kristopher LeClair and Dylan McCuaig provided the offence for the Thunder (18-5-2), which were 2-0 at the midway mark of the first period before the Colts would fire off six unanswered.
