MEDICINE HAT – Matt Clement and Ryan Fauth combined for eight points as the Medicine Hat Cubs skated to a 5-3 win over the Three Hills Thrashers on Sunday afternoon.

Clement and Fauth each finished with a goal and three assists, while goaltender Dan Maier turned aside 36-of-39 shots fired his way.

Nolan Acton, Mackenzie Fritzler and Alex Duclos rounded out the scoring for Medicine Hat (6-19-6), which trailed 3-1 going into the final frame, where they would score four unanswered times.

Tyler Newsham had two goals for the Thrashers (5-23-1, while Ryan Spiller added his 10th of the season.

Klay Munro made 25 saves in the Three Hills crease.

High River Flyers (1)

OKOTOKS – Connor Tudor scored twice and added two assists as the Okotoks Bisons cruised to a 9-1 win over the High River Flyers on Sunday afternoon at Murray Arena.

Nicholas Murrell also finished with two goals on the day for the Bisons (22-8-0), which have now won 12 straight.

Mark McLeod added a goal and two helpers, while Jaret Bordt, Kyle Dunville, Spencer Bender and Kyle Becker each added a single.

Matthew McDonald made 27 saves between the pipes.

Kody Briggs scored the lone goal of the game for High River (6-21-2), while Bryce Shegelski turned aside 31 shots in net.
