RED DEER – A pair of third period goals from Landon Siegle propelled the Blackfalds Wranglers to a 4-3 win over the Red Deer Vipers on Saturday evening.
Ryan Chambers and Wyatt Fleming each added a single for Blackfalds (19-11-1), which trailed 3-2 going into the third period before Siegle took over.
Spencer Yeats had two goals of his own for Red Deer (20-10-1), while Ryan Morell added his second of the season.
Lane Brann picked up win number 15 on the season, stopping 26 shots in the Wranglers crease.
Branen Bilodeau made 20 saves for Red Deer.
Okotoks Bisons (6)
Coaldale Copperheads (5)
COALDALE – The streak continues for the Okotoks Bisons thanks to a big night from Joshua McCulloch.
McCulloch scored three times, including the game-winner with 14 seconds left in overtime, to propel the Bisons (23-8-0) to a wild 6-5 win over the Coaldale Copperheads (20-10-2) on Saturday night.
The win marked the 13th straight for Okotoks, while the Copperheads have now lost four straight.
Connor Tudor, Tyler Rohl and Robbie McLean also scored for the Bisons, which held a 5-2 lead midway through the second period before the Copperheads would regroup and knot the score at five going into the final frame.
Isiah Day Chief, Tyler Anderson, Matthew Nadeau, Ryan Swier and Matt Krusky had the goals for Coaldale, which got 35 saves from Dylan Swanson between the pipes.
Banff Bears (2)
High River Flyers (1)
BANFF – Erik Garber made 34 saves between the pipes as the Banff Bears held on for a 2-1 victory over the High River Flyers on Saturday evening.
Josh Younker opened the scoring for the Flyers (6-23-2), giving them a 1-0 lead midway through the first period with a power-play marker, but the Bears (9-19-2) would respond.
Jake Huculak added a power-play marker of his own, before Kazu Prevost made it 2-1 Banff with 2:20 left in the first period, which would be all the offence the game would see.
Bryce Shegelski made 29 saves in the High River crease.
Three Hills Thrashers (4)

THREE HILLS – Patrick Fougere scored the shootout winner as the Three Hills Thrashers upended the Stettler Lightning by a 4-3 score on Saturday night, snapping their 17-game losing streak in the process.
Tyler Newsham scored twice and added an assist as the Thrashers (6-24-1) kept their playoff hopes alive with their first win since early November.
Michael Lougheed rounded out the Three Hills scoring, while Greg Pols made 34 saves in net.
Brendan Bardwell, Matt Sylvester and Ethan Rost had the goals for Stettler (15-14-3), which got 33 saves from goaltender Jordan McCallum.
The teams were tied 1-1 after 20 minutes and 2-2 going into the third period, where Newsham would give Three Hills the lead 3:14 into the frame, before Rost found the equalizer with 3:12 left on the clock.
