PONOKA – Mack Differenz scored twice including the game-winner 50 seconds into overtime as the Red Deer Vipers extended their winning streak to four games with a 4-3 win over the Ponoka Stampeders on Sunday afternoon.
Differenz, along with Logan Linnell and Ran Morrell combined to five Red Deer (24-10-1) a 3-0 third-period lead, before the Stampeders (8-24-4) would storm right back.
Jacob Sayler, Brendan Scott and Jordan Sears each found the back of the net to complete the comeback and force overtime.
Branden Bilodeau made 25 saves in the Red Deer crease, earing his 15th win of the season.
Robert Michetti turned aside 44-of-48 shots faced in the Ponoka net.

MEDICINE HAT – Dan Maier made 44 saves as the Medicine Hat Cubs upended the Okotoks Bisons by a 4-2 score on Sunday evening.
Trailing 2-1 early in the second period, Alex Duclos and Mat Clement each found the back of the net to pull the Cubs (8-22-6) ahead 3-2 going into the final frame, where Brandon Stahl would add an insurance marker in the early stages.
Ryan Fauth opened the scoring for the Cubs, while Maier made 17 of his 44 saves in the third period alone.
Kyle Harrison and Tyler Rohl tallied for Okotoks (24-11-1), which got 22 saves from goaltender Draven Rees.

BLACKFALDS – Two-goal games from Garrett Glasman and Curtis Rangen was all the offence the Blackfalds Wranglers would need on Sunday, as they took a 4-1 win over the Three Hills Thrashers.
Glasman tallied in the first period, Rangen scored in the third period, while both guys each found the back of the net in the middle frame as the Wranglers (23-12-1) held leads of 1-0 after 20 minutes and 3-0 heading into the final frame.
Lane Brann made 25 saves in goal to earn his 16th win of the season.
Cody Keith scored the lone goal for the Thrashers (6-28-1), breaking Brann’s shutout bid with just 2:11 to go in the game.
Strathmore Wheatland Kings (10)

BANFF – A six-point performance from Cole Busslinger paced the Strathmore Wheatland Kings to a 10-4 rout over the Banff Bears on Sunday.
The win locks down the fourth seed in the South Division for the Wheatland Kings (15-16-4), giving them home-ice advantage in the first round of the post-season.
Busslinger scored twice and setup four others on the day, while teammate Brooker Pretty Youngman finished with a hat trick, his fourth of the season.
Koday Hammond added two goals and two assists, while Ryan Grasdahl also found the back of the net twice.
Indiana Kelly got the win between the pipes, making 28 saves along the way, while Kristian Ayoungman chipped in with a goal and assist.
Max Lozeman, Philip Schader, Therann Kincross and Nathan Cohen-Wallis each scored for the Bears (10-21-3.
