Harrison, Generals complete sweep over Bears

BANFF – A five-point performance from Chad Harrison propelled the Cochrane Generals into the third round as they completed the four-game sweep over the Banff Bears with a 7-3 win on Sunday afternoon.

Harrison finished with a goal and four assists, while teammate Connor Rendell scored twice and setup two more.

Goaltender Ty Robinson stopped 37-of-40 shots the Bears fired his way,.

Brandon Aab, Austin Keller, Talus Hume and Colton Wong rounded out the scoring for Cochrane,

The Generals offence produced a combined 34 goals in four-games during the series.

Max Lozeman, Alex Skinner and Therann Kincross provided the offence for Banff, while goaltender Dominik Vollenwieder made 40 saves between the pipes.

Cochrane will face the winner of the Okotoks and Coaldale series. The Bisons currently hold a 3-0 series lead.
