Ingram, Colts take 3-1 series lead with Game 4 win

BLACKFLADS – A pair of goals off the stick of Evan Ingram paced the Mountainview Colts to a 4-2 win over the Blackfalds Wranglers on Tuesday evening, giving them a commanding 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven North Division semifinal series.

Ingram also added one assist to lead all skaters with three assists, while teammate Cole Sutherland chipped in with a goal and one helper.

Ryan Klinck also tallied for the Colts, which held leads of 2-1 after 20 minutes and 3-1 going into the third period.

Thomas Della Siega stood tall in the Mountainview crease, stopping 32-of-34 shots fired his way.

Brenden Davidson and Austin Wilson provided the offence for the Wranglers, while Lane Brann made 18 saves between the barber poles.

The Colts can end the series and punch their ticket to the North Division finals on Wednesday night on home ice. Game 5 goes at 8:00pm at the Didsbury Recreation Complex.
