Kelly stops 41 as Coaldale forces Game 6

OKOTOKS – Making it interesting.

Dillan Kelly made 41 saves as the Coaldale Copperheads staved off elimination once again with a 5-2 victory over the Okotoks Bisons in Game 5 of their best-of-of-seven South Division semifinal series.

Coaldale was down and out, trailing 3-0 in the series, but back-to-back wins have forced a massive Game 6 with momentum on the Copperheads side.

Five different players found the back of the net for Coaldale on Friday night as Ryan Swier led the way with a goal and two helpers.

Tyler Anderson added a goal and assist, while Logan McKay, Levi Anderson and Calvin Swanson each chipped in with a single.

Connor Tudor and Kyle Becker replied for Okotoks, which got 53 saves from goaltender Matthew McDonald.

Game 6 goes Saturday night back in Coaldale. Puck drop is 8:30pm.
