The regular season will draw to a close on Saturday night but the result of the game should have no bearing on the upcoming playoff matchups.
The playoffs see the two divisions merged into one division with 1st vs 8th, 2nd vs 7th, 3rd vs 6th, and 4th vs 5th in best of three affairs. From there, the semi-finals are a best of five and the league championship is also a best of five.
Despite Swan Valley and Preeceville playing their final regular season game on Saturday, in the interests of working with clubs that have Provincials games on the slate, teams may begin (but are not required) their playoff rounds this weekend as well.
