Moose begin defence of BC Championship against North Shore

SCWHL

The teams of the South Coast Women’s Hockey League will begin their pursuit of a Senior AA female BC Hockey Championship on Oct. 3 at Moody Park Arena in New Westminster.
On that Thursday night, the two-time provincial champion North Shore Rebels (2022, 2023) will host the defending champion Meadow Ridge Moose in the first game of the season. The Moose edged North Shore 1-0 in the championship game last season.
Each of the eight SCWHL teams will play 28 games during the regular season – 14 games at home and another 14 away from home. The season will conclude with two games on Saturday, Mar. 22.
Following the conclusion of the 112- game season, the top six teams in the regular season standings will advance to the SCWHL/Provincial Championship Tournament Mar. 28-30 at the Sardis Sports Complex in Chilliwack.
