The Bredenbury Cougars scored four unanswered goals to rally from a three goal deficit and defeat the Ochapowace Thunder 8-7 on Saturday night.
Sean Kolodziejski got the comeback started late in the second and then he scored again midway through the third and then Kyle Yaremchuk notched the equalizer with seven minutes to play in regulation. Zach Korchinski got the winner in the first minute of overtime.
The loss spoiled a five point game from Jonas Thomson, who picked up a goal and four assists. Tony Kinistino picked up a pair of goals for the Thunder. Other markers came from TJ Constant, Rance Thomson, Valdez Bear, and Trey Bear.
Tristin Kotzer, Kyle Rathgeber, Don St. Marie, and Colby Jacob also scored for Bredenbury.
One other game saw Theodore edge Hudson Bay 7-6, but no game sheet received as of 10:30am Sunday.
